This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) informs you about the personal data we collect when you use our services offered on our website www.sometoo.com (“Website”) and on our software my.sometoo.com ("Software").

Below you will find information on how we use your personal data, for which purposes your personal data is used, with whom it is shared and what control and information rights you may have.

1. Controller

Sometoo UG, Niddastr 64, 60594, Frankfurt, Germany (“Sometoo”, “we”, “our”) is controller in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as well as further applicable data protection laws.

2. Processing of Personal Data / Purpose of Processing

2.1 When Visiting our Website

The Website provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser automatically transmits to us in "server log files". These are:

  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

These data will not be combined with data from other sources.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR which allows the processing of data on prevailing legitimate interest of the controller. Our legitimate interest is to ensure unimpeded and trouble-free access to our Website.

The hosting of the Website and our services offered is carried out by external service providers on our behalf. The website www.sometoo.com and our software available under https://my.sometoo.com are hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH (Sigmundstrasse 135, 90431 Nürnberg, Germany). Your data will be stored on protected servers within the EU. Access is only possible to a few specially authorized persons who are involved with the technical, commercial or editorial support of the servers.

2.2 When Purchasing Tokens

When you purchase tokens through the Website, we collect information including your e-mail address and depending on your chosen payment method the payment information necessary to process your purchase.

We will process your personal data only to fulfill your order and to provide you with the tokens. Processing is conducted as far as necessary to fulfill the contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).

Purchases greater or equal EUR 1,000.00 will be subject to identity verification; purchases under EUR 1,000.00 may be subject to such checks (spot testing). The processing of such data is conducted on our behalf and under our instructions by our service provider IDnow GmbH (Auenstr. 100, 80469 Munich, Germany). IDnow will collect and share with us your name, address and contact information.

The verification process is necessary to prevent fraud and protect our interest to minimize the risk by fraudulent actions. Legal basis for this is our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR)

2.3 When Subscribing to Our Newsletter/Information E-Mails

If you have given your consent, we will send you a newsletter/information at irregular intervals to inform you about news on cryptocurrencies as well as our products and services.

For this, we need your e-mail address. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking on the corresponding link at the end of the e-mail. You can also revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future by e-mail to [email protected].

The legal basis for sending the newsletter is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

2.4 When You Write us an E-Mail

We use G-Suite, e-mail services from Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter "Google"). When you write us an e-mail, your e-mail together with the e-mail address will be stored in [●]. Google renders these services on our behalf.

The legal basis for the processing of your relevant personal data is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest persists in the use of such service itself.

3. Cookies

3.1 General

We use cookies with our services. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you use our services. Cookies do no damage to your end device and do not contain viruses, Trojans or other malware.

Information is stored in the cookie that results in each case in connection with the specifically used terminal device. However, this does not mean that we immediately become aware of your identity.

4. YouTube

On our Websites, you can watch videos that are integrated via plugin from YouTube (a Google company). As soon as you visit a web page of our offer, on which such a YouTube plugin is merged, a connection to the servers of YouTube is established. Data transmitted to YouTube include your IP address or which page of our online offer you are currently visiting.

If you are logged in to YouTube at the same time as your YouTube account when you visit one of our Websites, YouTube may associate your surfing behavior with your YouTube user profile. You can prevent such data processing by logging out of your YouTube account before visiting our Websites.
